Welcome to Your Newborn Session

Welcome, and congratulations on your growing family! I’m so honored you’re considering me to capture this incredibly special time in your lives. Knowing how important this special time is and taking on each session with safety first, I will use my creativity to capture your beautiful baby with gentle posing and soft soothing techniques. 

Your Newborn photos are taken at Rayven Jade Photography’s studio, where I am fully equipped with everything we’ll need for your newborn session-including a carefully curated selection of props, wraps, blankets, headbands, bonnets and other sweet accessories.  From soft textures to timeless setups, every detail is thoughtfully prepared to ensure a relaxed and stress-free experience for both you and your baby. All you need to bring is your little one-I’ll take care of the rest. You can expect your newborn session to last around 2-3 hours as I always use the baby lead technique, ensuring we always take feeding or cuddle breaks if baby needs it. 

I love connecting with my clients to plan your dream session together, so it is best to book in your newborn photography session while you are still pregnant to have time to plan and be sure we have your due date on the calendar. Once booked, your due date will be penciled into my calendar. Then as soon as baby arrives, you let me know so that we can schedule the exact time and date of your session. Newborn sessions are best done in the first 14 days of life (most preferably between 5-10 days old). The timeline for newborn photographs is important as little ones become less sleepy and harder to pose as they grow older. Some last minute sessions are usually available, or if your new baby is a bit older, don’t worry, there is still time to capture gorgeous photos, just contact me for further information.

Newborn Collections

We offer many Collections that include your session, photographers time and talent, access to all studio props and client closet, for your custom planned and designed session. As well as your digital images and beautiful products such as Albums and professional quality prints.  We also have a A La Carte Menu if you prefer to design your own Collection.

Mini Wrapped Newborn.

This session is for baby only. Includes many different personalized Prop sets. Baby will be wrapped and cozy in different ways for each set.  Approx 1 hour session. Includes 10 Digital Images.

Classic Newborn.

Full Newborn Session that includes baby in props, wrapped and posed table images. Parents/Siblings welcome for family photos. (immediate family only)   Approx 3 hour session. Includes 20 digital images.

Heirloom Newborn Session

Full Newborn Session that includes baby in props, wrapped, posed table images and Parent/Sibling photos. Grandparents also welcome for a generational photos. Approx 3-4 hour session. Includes 40 Digital Images and 3 Mini Accordion Album Keepsakes.
